Instruction for Use of Electronic Soldering Tool Set
I. Component Introduction
This set includes a soldering iron, a desoldering pump, tweezers, soldering iron tips (5 specifications), solder wire (2 rolls), a soldering iron stand, and a cleaning sponge, meeting the basic needs of electronic soldering.
II. Operation Steps
(I) Preparation
1. Connect the soldering iron to the power supply. According to the soldering requirements, set an appropriate temperature using the adjustment button on the iron (it is recommended to gradually adjust from a low temperature for the first use).
2. Select a soldering iron tip that matches the soldering scenario, install it on the soldering iron, and ensure it is firmly installed.
(II) Soldering Process
1. Clean the electronic components to be soldered and the solder joints on the circuit board. Wipe the soldering iron tip with a sponge to remove the oxide layer.
2. Hold the soldering iron tip close to the solder joint. When the temperature of the solder joint is appropriate, contact the solder wire with the solder joint to make the solder evenly cover the joint and form a firm connection. Then move away the soldering iron tip and let the solder joint cool and solidify naturally.
(III) Desoldering/Correction (Use of Desoldering Pump) If desoldering or correcting a solder joint is needed, press the button of the desoldering pump, align the desoldering nozzle with the solder joint, heat the joint with the soldering iron to melt the solder, release the button of the desoldering pump, and use negative pressure to suck away the molten solder.
III. Precautions
1. The soldering iron has a high temperature during operation. Do not touch the soldering iron tip during use or just after turning off the power. When placing it, use the soldering iron stand to avoid damaging items.
2. The solder wire contains flux, and a small amount of smoke will be generated during soldering. It is recommended to operate in a ventilated environment to reduce inhalation.
3. Regularly clean the soldering iron tip with a cleaning sponge to maintain soldering performance. If not used for a long time, turn off the power of the soldering iron, unplug it, and store it.
4. After using the desoldering pump, promptly clean the residual solder in the desoldering nozzle to ensure normal use next time.
